Turkish Miles&Smiles raises partner domestic awards 50% and splits out Hawaii, without notice

On 3 December 2025 Turkish Miles&Smiles raised one-way domestic awards on Star Alliance partners from 10,000 to 15,000 miles in economy and gave US mainland–Hawaii its own chart at 25,000 / 40,000 / 50,000. The 10,000-mile United domestic sweet spot is gone.

Turkish Airlines republished its Miles&Smiles chart for partner flights within a single country on 3 December 2025. The new prices applied the same day, with no notice.

Domestic partner awards went up 50% in every cabin. Hawaii went up between 150% and 167%. That was the best-known sweet spot in the programme, and it no longer exists.

Why an Indian cardholder should care. Nothing here changes the price of an award from India. But the 10,000-mile United domestic flight was the redemption we had named as the one that survived Turkish’s 2024 overhaul. It now costs 15,000 miles. If you were planning a US trip with Miles&Smiles covering the internal flights, budget for 50% more miles per segment, or pay cash for those flights.

The transfers still work. Five Indian card currencies feed Miles&Smiles directly: HDFC Reward Points, HSBC Reward Points and SBI Travel Credits at 2:1, Axis EDGE Miles at 1:2 (one EDGE Mile becomes two Turkish miles), and Axis EDGE Rewards at 5:2. The chart got worse, but the ways in did not change.
