DreamFolks exits lounge business — chaos for Indian cardholders

DreamFolks stops domestic lounge access from 16 Sep 2025, affecting almost every Indian bank/airline card, with the network splintering across Adani LoungeOne, Encalm, and bank-specific partners. Cardholders face chaos as 'complimentary domestic lounge' benefits are now uncertain until banks re-paper deals.

DreamFolks, the aggregator behind almost every ‘complimentary domestic lounge’ benefit on Indian credit cards, has stopped domestic lounge services from 16 September 2025. This move comes after Adani Digital, Semolina Kitchens, and Encalm pulled their lounges off the platform. The practical fallout for cardholders is chaos, as a card that promised lounge access via DreamFolks may now deny access at the door. Each bank must re-paper deals with Adani LoungeOne, Encalm, or Elite Assist airport by airport. Our take: cardholders should be prepared for uncertainty around their ‘X free domestic visits’ benefits until the banks finish re-wiring their lounge access partnerships. This structural shift in Indian lounge access will take time to settle, and cardholders must stay informed about the changes affecting their specific cards.
