SBI Card has discontinued the ticket ladder and renewal ticket voucher for Club Vistara SBI PRIME cardholders who renew after 31 Mar 2025. In exchange, the ₹10,000 renewal fee is waived. The Yatra hotel e-voucher, which offers a ₹10,000 voucher at ₹8 lakh spends, survives the cull. The move mirrors a similar change by Axis Bank two weeks prior, where the issuer traded a fee waiver for a reduction in rewards value. For Club Vistara SBI PRIME cardholders, the loss of the ticket ladder and renewal voucher significantly reduces the card’s appeal. Our take: keep the Club Vistara SBI PRIME card only if you value the Yatra hotel e-voucher and other surviving benefits enough to justify the reduced rewards proposition. For most cardholders, the loss of the ticket ladder will be a significant blow, and it may be time to reevaluate whether this card remains a favourable choice.
