What it's worth to you, after the fee
Welcome: Welcome gift cards from Uber, Croma, Zomato, SonyLiv and Myntra — Fi's own page prices the bundle at ₹4,250 in its joining-value arithmetic and at ₹5,000 in its summary block, and never reconciles the two
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until Federal Bank publishes terms we can cite.

2 notes on the card itself: how it is issued · why it ranks #825
Why #825 The best card Fi and Federal Bank ever built together and the reason the pair is worth remembering: zero forex markup, lounge access, and points that reached airline programmes, for ₹2,000 waived at ₹2.5 lakh of spend. Both partners have announced it dies on 20 March 2026. Carried for the reader still holding one.
The take
For a card nobody outside the Fi app talked about, this was a genuinely well-built travel product. Zero forex markup, on every international transaction, from 6 December 2023 — Fi's own line is "We don't charge the ~3.5% forex markup that most other cards do" — which on its own puts it in a group of maybe a dozen Indian cards. Airport lounge access. An accelerated return on a named list of twenty-plus Indian brands. And Fi-Points that could be converted to airline miles, exclusive vouchers, gift cards or a statement credit, which is more exit routes than most bank currencies offer. The fee was ₹2,000 to join and ₹2,000 to renew, waived outright at ₹2.5 lakh of annual spend, against welcome gift cards Fi valued at more than the fee and a further ₹4,999 of milestone benefits at ₹4 lakh of spend. It is being switched off. Both Fi and Federal Bank have said so: Fi's page carries a service notice reading "Your AmpliFi Federal Fi Credit Card will be discontinued from 20 March 2026", new applications are already closed, and Federal Bank's own co-branded page lists the whole Federal-Fi programme among the partnerships that "have been discontinued". Card usage and benefits run until that date; dues go through federalficards@federalbank.co.in. What this desk cannot yet tell you is the rate. Fi publishes the accrual and the conversion rate for its Fi-Points, and the points reach airline programmes — but the desk has no priced Fi-Points currency to hang them on, and pricing them as rupees would erase the airline route that made the card interesting. So the fee, the forex, the lounge and the closure date are all stated, and the rate is deliberately blank until the currency is modelled.

Keep, downgrade or cancel
what we can and cannot price
Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade
Federal Bank publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.
What has changed under this card
- 20 Mar 2026 The Federal Fi credit-card programme ends and reward accrual stops
- 1 Oct 2025 Federal puts a quarterly spend gate on lounge access across Signet, Imperio and Celesta issuer-wide
We price what is in force today — a change that has not happened yet is not in these numbers. the full archive for this card →
If you call to cancel
What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →
The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.
What's good
- Zero forex markup on international transactions from 6 December 2023 — against the 3.5% Fi correctly says most Indian cards charge
- Airport lounge access, and Fi-Points convertible to airline miles, gift cards, vouchers or a statement credit
- The ₹2,000 renewal fee was waived outright on ₹2.5 lakh of annual spend
- Annual milestone benefits Fi valued at ₹4,999 on ₹4 lakh of spend, on top of the welcome gift cards
Watch out
- Being withdrawn on 20 March 2026 — Fi has stopped taking new applications and Federal Bank lists the whole Federal-Fi programme as discontinued
- Fi's own page prices the welcome gift cards at ₹4,250 in one block and ₹5,000 in another, and never reconciles the two
- Fi-Points are not yet priced on this desk, so no reward rate is published here — the accrual Fi states is recorded in the sources but not converted into a rate
- Existing holders should watch the e-mail titled 'Important Update on Your Federal–Fi Credit Card' and settle dues through federalficards@federalbank.co.in
- Neither Fi nor Federal names a payment scheme for this card in prose, so the network is not published
What these points actually fly
Federal Bank has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Does your spend count toward the fee waiver?
not published — and we say which
₹2,50,000 a year is the bar that waives the ₹2,000 fee. A different question from the one above — earning points and counting toward a threshold are separate rules, and issuers write them separately.
Not published. Federal Bank states what the AmpliFi (Federal Bank) earns, but has not published which spend categories count toward the fee waiver — the ₹2,50,000 bar. We won't guess it from the earn table or from a sibling card: Axis published three cards' rules on one day and all three lists differed. If you hold this card and have it in writing from the issuer, send us the document and we'll source it.

- 23 Aug 2026Federal Bank discontinues the Jupiter Edge and Fi co-brand programmesFederal Bank issued co-branded credit cards with Europa Neomarketing (Federal Edge, sold as Jupiter Edge) and Fi Brand (AmpliFi, SimpliFi, MagniFi). → Both programmes discontinued. Federal's co-branded index carries two support mailboxes for existing holders and nothing else.
Federal Bank's co-branded credit-card index, stamped "Last Updated On : 23 Aug 2026", says it plainly: the programmes run with Europa Neomarketing and Fi Brand "have been discontinued". The three Fi siblings were already carried as closed on this board; the Jupiter Edge was the row nobody flipped, and it sat at `availability: open` until today. Recorded as a launch-class event because what changed is the PROGRAMME, not a price — no fee moved and no rate was cut. The card simply stopped being something a reader could get, which is the one fact a shelf must never be wrong about. Note the disagreement rather than resolving it: jupiter.money still sells the card with a live apply funnel, so a reader can currently apply for a product the issuing bank says is discontinued. The issuer's word governs the shelf; the partner's page is recorded in the card's watchOut. Federal's notice does NOT name the CSB-issued Edge cards, so nothing here reaches them.
