What it's worth to you, after the fee

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. Everything we can source — the fee, the charges, the migration that put this card in your hand — is above and stands on its own; this card is simply not on the board, not in the calculator, and cannot win a best-of call until DBS Bank India publishes terms we can cite.

The take

This is the ₹2,999 variant of the card DBS is reissuing to Bajaj Finserv DBS Bank SuperCard holders, the SuperX Plus, and everything true of the ₹1,499 SuperX is true here with a bigger fee and the same silence. DBS ended the Bajaj Finance co-brand with effect from 1 August 2026 and is moving every holder onto a SuperX or a SuperX Plus, notified by email and SMS; which of the two you are handed is DBS's decision and is not published, and neither is the reason one costs twice the other. What the bank HAS put in writing is the price — ₹2,999 a year, no joining charge, no spend waiver, a 3.5% forex markup and the 42–48% interest band — all of it a footnote in a consolidated MITC, a long way from where anyone reads. What it has NOT put in writing is a single thing this card earns: there is no product page, no benefit sheet and no terms document for either variant, and the bank's own T&C hub has no SuperX section at all. So we can tell you exactly what SuperX Plus COSTS and we cannot tell you what it earns, because nobody has said, and we will not guess a ₹2,999 card's rewards from the co-brand it replaces. Until DBS ships a page, treat it as an unpriced instrument you have been handed — and if you have the choice, ask DBS why you are on the ₹2,999 tier rather than the ₹1,499 one before you agree to it.

Your renewal — keep, downgrade or cancel

There is no renewal arithmetic to run on this card yet — and a break-even we cannot source is not one we will print.

Keep, downgrade or cancel

what we can and cannot price

Not valued. We can't value this card until the issuer publishes how it earns — every net-value number here would be a fee subtracted from rewards nobody has described. A break-even is the spend at which value crosses a fee, and we are short one side of that sentence — so this desk prints no ladder, no crossing and no ₹0 standing in for either. What we can source about this card is under Sources.

The downgrade

DBS Bank India publishes no document naming a card you can step down to, so we name none — an invented product change is a phone call you would waste. That leaves keep or cancel, and we cannot price either side of it.

What has changed under this card

  • 1 Aug 2026 The Bajaj Finserv DBS SuperCard is discontinued — holders reissued a SuperX or SuperX Plus issuer-wide

We price what is in force today — a change that has not happened yet is not in these numbers. the full archive for this card →

If you call to cancel

What the bank offers to keep you is the one fact this desk cannot compute. We are collecting those reports — dated, and only in aggregate — before publishing any: an offer one reader was made is not one you are owed. Called about this card? Tell us what they offered →

The desk publishes subscribable .ics feeds for the dates it knows — offer deadlines, devaluations, expiry audits. Your renewal date is not one of them: only your statement knows it.

What's good

  • Priced in DBS's consolidated MITC: ₹2,999 a year, joining column marked NA — nothing to pay to get it
  • One of the two cards every Bajaj Finserv DBS Bank SuperCard holder is being reissued from 1 August 2026, by email/SMS
  • The costlier tier — twice the SuperX's ₹1,499 — with no published benefit that explains the difference

Watch out

  • DBS publishes NO product page, benefit sheet or T&C for either SuperX variant — the earn structure is entirely unstated, so we decline to value it
  • Why a holder is put on the ₹2,999 Plus rather than the ₹1,499 SuperX is DBS's call and is not published
  • 3.5% forex markup — none of the 0% Asia carve-out Altitude gets, or the 0% everywhere Vantage gets
  • Interest 42–48% a year (3.5–4% a month); Split-and-Pay runs to 28% for transactors and 39% for revolvers
  • No spend-based fee waiver at any level — the MITC's waiver column reads NA

What these points actually fly

DBS Bank India has not published what this card earns, so there are no points here to fly with — not zero points, and not points that go nowhere: nothing stated either way. The moment a benefit sheet exists we will price whatever it names.

Invite-only — there is no public application form. The bank calls you.

You do not apply — DBS issues it. The consolidated MITC's fee-table footnote states that the Bajaj Finserv DBS Bank SuperCard "will be discontinued with effect from 1st August 2026, and the cardholders will be issued a DBS SuperX Credit Card or DBS SuperX Plus Credit Card by DBS Bank", with communication by email and SMS. Which of the two variants you are handed is DBS's call and is not published; the fee tables price SuperX at ₹1,499 and SuperX Plus at ₹2,999, both with the joining column marked NA. There is no public application page for either — dbs.bank.in serves the same 2,147-byte stub for every SuperX path — and therefore no published income, age or eligibility criteria to meet. If your SuperCard is being swapped, the card arrives; if it is not, there is currently no documented route in.

DBS Bank India publishes no income or age cutoffs for this card. Blank means blank — we don't invent numbers to fill a grid.

The fine print

3 of 7 MITC rows published

What the MITC actually says — the rates, fees and cutoffs the brochure skips.

Forex markup 3.5% of transaction amount (consolidated MITC forex table)
APR 42–48%/yr (3.5–4%/mo), the same band as the SuperX and the SuperCard
Late fee 10% of Total Amount Due above ₹5,000, capped ₹1,299
Cash advance not published
Add-on card not published
Overlimit not published
Redemption fee not published

Consolidated MITC §A(i): joining NA, annual ₹2,999, waiver NA — no spend-based waiver at any level, twice the SuperX's ₹1,499 with nothing published to explain the difference. Card replacement ₹200. Split-and-Pay up to 28% transactor / 39% revolver. Fuel surcharge waiver 1% on ₹400–₹4,000 transactions, capped "depending on the card variant for Product TnC for details" — a document DBS has not published. The MITC is the ONLY thing DBS publishes about either SuperX variant: it names them in six tables and not one is a reward row, so there is no published earn rate, currency or lounge quota to read anywhere.

    Launch moderate DBS Bank India
The Bajaj Finserv DBS SuperCard is discontinued — holders reissued a SuperX or SuperX Plus
Bajaj Finserv DBS Bank SuperCard, a co-brand with Bajaj Finance Limited sold in six variants — 5X Rewards ₹499, 5X Plus Rewards ₹999, 7X Rewards ₹1,499, 7X Plus Rewards ₹1,999, 10X Signature ₹2,999 and 10X Plus Signature ₹4,999, each joining fee matching its annual fee → Discontinued with effect from 1 August 2026. Cardholders are issued a DBS SuperX Credit Card (₹1,499 annual) or DBS SuperX Plus Credit Card (₹2,999 annual) by DBS Bank — both with the joining-fee column marked NA — with communication by email and SMS

DBS and Bajaj Finance have unwound their co-brand, and the notice is buried where almost nobody reads it — a footnote in DBS's consolidated MITC fee table, verbatim: the SuperCard 'will be discontinued with effect from 1st August 2026, and the cardholders will be issued a DBS SuperX Credit Card or DBS SuperX Plus Credit Card by DBS Bank.' Two weeks after that date, dbs.bank.in was still selling the SuperCard with a full six-variant table and an Apply CTA, which is the part a reader can actually get burnt by. What replaces it is thinner on paper: SuperX at ₹1,499 a year and SuperX Plus at ₹2,999, both with the joining-fee column marked NA, both sitting in the 3.5% forex band and the 48%-APR tier — none of the 0% Asia forex or lounge quota that Vantage and Altitude get. DBS has published no SuperX product page at all, so beyond the fee, interest and charge rows in the MITC there is nothing to read before the card lands in your hand.
