ANA’s chart for awards on its own flights changed for tickets issued from 00:00 Japan time on 24 June 2025. ANA’s page prints the old cell and the new one side by side, marked “Previous” and “Revised”.
Two things changed. ANA started selling awards on its own flights one way, with a one-way chart of its own. And business got dearer on the routes an Indian reader actually flies.
India and South-East Asia to Japan (ANA’s Zone 4). Business went from 55,000 / 60,000 / 63,000 miles round-trip (low / regular / high season) to 80,000 / 85,000 / 95,000. One way it is 40,000 / 42,500 / 47,500. Economy held at 30,000 low and 35,000 regular round-trip, which is 15,000 and 17,500 one way. High-season economy rose from 38,000 to 50,000 round-trip, or 25,000 one way.
Hong Kong and Shanghai to Japan (Zone 3). Business is 26,500 one way in regular season, against the 20,000 that half of the old 40,000 round trip implied.
Sydney and Perth to Japan (Zone 10). Business is 45,000 one way in regular season, against the old 37,500.
Europe and North America kept their low- and regular-season business and First prices. High season rose everywhere.
What it means: the Delhi–Tokyo nonstop in a flat bed is 42,500 miles, not the 30,000 the old chart gave. That is no longer the cheapest business seat to Tokyo on our board: JAL Mileage Bank and AAdvantage both ask 40,000. No Indian card transfers to ANA; Marriott Bonvoy at 3:1 is the road in, about 112,500 Bonvoy points for one 42,500-mile seat. ANA also adds its fuel surcharge in cash.
Our award board carried the pre-revision business prices on these routes until 24 October 2026, when ANA’s chart was re-read and the 16 affected rows were corrected.
