Standard Chartered halves EaseMyTrip domestic lounges — 2 visits/year

Standard Chartered's EaseMyTrip card now offers only 2 domestic lounge visits per year, down from 4, and loses Priority Pass and complimentary international lounge access. The card's benefits have been significantly reduced, making it less attractive to travelers.

Standard Chartered has made significant changes to its EaseMyTrip card, effective October 15, 2024. The card now offers only 2 complimentary domestic lounge visits per calendar year, down from 4 visits per year. Additionally, the card has lost its Priority Pass membership, which previously offered 2 international lounge visits per year. The removal of Priority Pass and the reduction in domestic lounge visits significantly reduce the card’s travel benefits. International lounge access is now only available at pay-per-visit rates, making the card less attractive to frequent travelers. Our take: with the loss of Priority Pass and reduced domestic lounge access, the Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip card is no longer a viable option for travelers seeking lounge benefits. Cardholders may want to consider alternative cards that offer more comprehensive travel rewards and benefits.
