Accor scraps Le Club, soft-launches ALL - Accor Live Limitless
Accor pulled the plug on Le Club AccorHotels on December 3, 2019 and soft-launched ALL — Accor Live Limitless — a unified lifestyle platform with a new app and guaranteed Suite Night Upgrade Awards for Platinum members.
Le Club AccorHotels is dead. As of today, Accor’s loyalty programme is ALL — Accor Live Limitless — a rebrand that folds hotel loyalty into a broader “lifestyle” platform with a new app and, the part that actually matters, guaranteed Suite Night Upgrade Awards for Platinum members.
Most loyalty rebrands are a logo change and a press release. This one ships mechanics. Le Club was a conventional revenue-based tier programme; ALL adds redemption breadth and upgrade guarantees that Platinums can actually plan around, instead of hoping the front desk is feeling generous.
For Indian collectors sitting on Novotel, Pullman or Sofitel points, the timing is the real story: Accor is expanding aggressively in India through the coming years, which means more properties to earn at and burn in as the programme’s new machinery beds in.
Our take: a rebrand with real upside is a rare species — most exist to launder a devaluation. ALL is the exception. Suite Night Upgrades with a guarantee attached are worth more than any amount of “lifestyle” branding, and Accor just became more relevant to Indian wallets, not less.
