† IDFC FIRST Diamond Reserve: Diamond Reserve is the IDFC card with NO app-travel redemption premium: its own Privileges document says "1 reward point = ₹0.25", full stop, where Mayura gets ₹0.50 and Ashva ₹0.40. Points never expire and redeem as cash against any online purchase rather than a catalogue, which makes them unusually liquid for IDFC — they are simply worth the house ₹0.25, not a paisa more, and there is no in-app travel tier to chase.

Neither issuer publishes an income floor for these two, and the door is the same on both sides: IDFC FIRST Diamond Reserve and IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card are both open to a direct application.

How we work out the yearly value

We put each card through the same everyday mix of spending, apply that card's own rules for each kind of spend (some earn nothing on fuel or bills), add its milestone and renewal bonuses at our value per point, and take off the fee unless that spend waives it. Bonus categories that need you to shop a certain way are not counted. Your own mix will differ: try your numbers in the calculator, or read how we value cards.

Watch out 6 points

IDFC FIRST Diamond Reserve

  • No reward points on international spend at all — zero forex, zero earn, same transaction
  • 1 point = ₹0.25 flat; no app-travel redemption premium, unlike Mayura (₹0.50) and Ashva (₹0.40)
  • Lounge, railway lounge, golf and movie perks all need ₹20,000 spent the previous calendar month, with no carry-over

3 more on its page

IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card

  • ₹4,999 fee, no spend waiver — only the secured FD variant waives the first year (IDFC's own page says a ₹50k FD in one place and a ₹1L FD in its FAQ)
  • International purchases earn 1 BluChip per ₹100 (0.5%) since 26 October 2026, down from the general 3 — IDFC's own card page carries the date
  • No lounge access at all — a glaring gap at this fee
