The radar

Not in the catalog until we can rank it honestly.

Every launch arrives wrapped in a press release; the earn rate arrives later, in a T&C PDF, wearing a disguise. This page is the holding pattern — 4 cards and revamps we're watching but refusing to rank until the numbers survive our spreadsheet. Rumors are labelled as rumors. Every row carries a source and a verified-on date, because a pipeline without sources is just gossip.

Launched, pending our review

Publicly live. Not in the catalog until we can rank it honestly — the spreadsheet runs before the verdict does.

Gaj IDFC FIRST Bank

pending review

Live since 29 Dec 2025 — invite-only

What we know
Invite-only metal flagship for IDFC FIRST Private Banking clients. ₹12,500 + GST joining and annual fee, offset by 12,500 reward points (1 RP = ₹1 on in-app travel), 0% forex markup, 1:1 earn rate.
Why it matters
IDFC chasing the Infinia/Reserve HNI segment right as those incumbents cut benefits. Invite-only cards sit awkwardly in a ranking you can act on, so Gaj only graduates if readers can realistically get it. It's on the bench, not in the game.

IndiGo Axis Bank Credit Card (+ Premium) Axis Bank × IndiGo

pending review

Live since 18 Feb 2026

What we know
Two BluChip co-brands on RuPay and Visa: a ₹799 retail variant and a ₹5,000 premium variant with lounge access, milestone rewards and reduced forex markup. Accelerated BluChip earn on direct IndiGo bookings; a 2x signup-bonus window ran at launch.
Why it matters
India's biggest airline finally has a serious co-brand — and Axis already pipes EDGE points into BluChip at an intro 1:2 (see /offers). If the premium variant's direct earn beats the EDGE transfer route, our optimizer maths for IndiGo changes. That's exactly the review we're running.

Scapia Credit Card (BOBCARD) Bank of Baroda × Scapia

pending review

Live since Jan 2026 (public, post-beta)

What we know
The Federal Bank Scapia formula on a second issuer: lifetime free, zero forex markup, 20% Scapia-coin rewards on app travel bookings and 10% on other spends, unlimited domestic lounge access at ₹20,000 monthly spend, plus a RuPay variant for UPI.
Why it matters
Two issuers, one card, doubled approval odds — and the Federal original was devalued in Feb 2026 (lounge bar doubled to ₹20k, insurance/utility earn killed). We need to verify the BOB variant carries the post-nerf terms, not the brochure ones, before it can be ranked.

Primus Axis Bank

pending review

Live — invite-only, ₹1.8L fee

What we know
Ultra-luxury Visa Infinite Privilege at a ₹1,80,000 fee, by invitation to Axis's ultra-HNI clients only. Private-jet access, companion tickets, bespoke itineraries and event invitations; eligibility criteria undisclosed.
Why it matters
We rank cards a reader can get and value in rupees. Primus is neither — the benefits are concierge-shaped, not spreadsheet-shaped. It stays on the radar because it anchors Axis's top end while Magnus and Reserve get trimmed beneath it.

Beta / waitlist

Live for a closed group. Real terms, unreal availability.

No closed betas on the radar right now. Indian issuers mostly skip this stage — they launch first and read the feedback later.

Announced

On the record from the issuer or program. Dates in this business are aspirations.

No on-the-record announcements pending. The press releases will come; they always do.

Rumored

Community chatter, not commitments. Treat every row here as a rumor — we do, loudly.

No rumor currently clears our bar. Most never should.

How rows get here — and how they leave

A daily RSS-watch job reads the launch feeds and proposes new radar rows as pull requests; a human merges or kills each one. From here a card goes one of two ways: it survives our review and graduates to the rankings with a real verdict, or the rumor dies and the row goes with it. Nothing on this page is a recommendation — it's a watchlist with receipts.
